Venezuela: A NEW AMERICAN “CAN of WORMS!”

Following the military commando attack on the Government of Venezuela on January 2, 2026, and the Kidnapping of Venezuelan President Mr. Maduro; the United States again enters an international conflict that shows ourinability to think through the logic and consequences of physically intervening in and attempting to make governmental change in a foreign nation.

Under the direction of our apparently naive President and his Secretary of War, we have picked a fight with a very weak nation in what is supposed to slow the availability of the tons of drugs sold illegally to millions of Americans every year.

What is our reasoning?

1. Are we really trying to send a message to much more powerful nations involved in the drug trade that we would attempt to kidnap their leaders if they don’t stop sending drugs to our very lucrative market?

According to “eTravelNews”: Is it Mexico? Which is the main thoroughfare for drugs into the U. S. but by no means the main producer of any of them. Is it China? Which is the main worldwide exporter of the raw chemicals for production of fentanyl. Is it Columbia? Which is the main producer of Cocaine for export?

2. OR, Are we really trying to send a message to many weaker South American, S.E. Asian and Central American nations that they may have similar consequences if they don’t stop producing raw Coca and Opium?

Again, who are we talking to?: Is it Peru? Bolivia? El Salvador? Nicaragua? Afghanistan? Myanmar?Thailand? Cambodia? Vietnam? We already have spent years and thousands of American with our military in Vietnam and Afghanistan with no positive effect on either changing governments or drug producton?

ARE WE JUST PLAIN STUPID?

If we need aircraft carriers, jet fighters and battleships to blow up a few small boats and their occupants in the Caribbean and to kidnap the President of one weak country …

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO NEED TO DOMINATE ALL THESE OTHER PLACES?

HOW CAN WE POSSIBLY INSTALL WORKING GOVERNMENTS IN ANY OR ALL OF THESE?
