Soldier’s Hut at Petersburg Battlefield – 8ft by 8ft- Comfy by 1865 standards!

This is an enlisted man’s hut (4 soldiers to a hut) regarded as very accommodating and cozy for the men to overwinter at Petersburg in the winter of 1864-65.
